SHAWLS OF PRAYER
Prayer shawls are made incorporating into every stitch. When presented to an individual, a shawl serves as a visible reminder for that person that he or she is constantly in the thoughts and prayers of others.
For more information or to request a shawl for a friend or family member please contact: Helen Kreidermacher, (708) 771-3567.

Saint Bernardine Day
This year, our “St. Bernardine Day/Big Cash Raffle” took place on Saturday May 19th. Attendees enjoyed complimentary hot dogs, burgers and pop. Volunteers donated an abundance of salads and desserts to share – no one went home hungry! D.J. Boogie entertained the crowd and everyone was invited to join in a “sing-a-long” at the end of the evening. Our Big Cash Raffle winners were announced (a list of names is available at the rectory), and all in all, the night was very enjoyable.
We hope to see everyone again at our next St. Bernardine Day in May of 2019!
This year our Mission will take place from Monday, March 25th through Wednesday, March 27th. We will meet in the church at 7:00 p.m. The Mission will be led by Rev. James Hurlbert of Ascension Church in Oak Park.
